Born and raised in Michigan, Susan Lyons possesses both a head for numbers and a natural instinct for creative design. After a career as a CPA with Arthur Anderson in Houston, Susan tired of being “tied to a desk” and realized the time was ripe for her to pursue her creative ambitions. Inspired by a dream of her beloved grandmother. Erica Lyons, Inc. was brought into the world 20 years ago in the basement of her parents’ home. Over the years, Susan’s innate and distinctive design sense, her business acumen and passion have built Erica Lyons into one of the country’s most successful and admired fashion leaders.
